What is known about Shakhtar’s charity match in Japan?

General Director of Shakhtar Football Club Serhiy Palkin confirmed the charity match against Avispa Fukuoka, which will take place on December 18 in Tokyo at the Japan National Stadium with a capacity of 68,000 spectators.
“I want to thank the management of the club and the team of Avispa Fukuoka for agreeing to hold a charity match with Shakhtar and helping to organize the game at one of the main sports arenas in Japan.
This meeting is of great importance not only for our club, but also for all Ukrainians: because, firstly, it is a testimony of the solidarity of Japanese society with the people of Ukraine, and secondly, all funds received from the match will be directed to support the victims because of Russia’s military aggression and other humanitarian projects,” said Palkin.
