Presentation of the debut novel by Vadim Yakovlev “Where the Territory Begins”
Enchanting, crazy, unexpected – this was the appearance of Vadim Yakovlev on the Ukrainian literary scene.
It is no coincidence that one of the days was chosen for this presentation, when the Museum of Modern Art hosts an exhibition of another eccentric character – the Kyiv artist and performer Fripulia.
What kind of romance?
You wake up in the morning. Your favorite transsexual is snuggling next to you. Outside the window, a country torn into small pieces by separatist fanatics. And behind the door is a world in which you must burst into with a gun to complete the mission – the elimination of a dangerous smuggler, whose death there was no doubt.
You are a cynical killer for money. You are a traitor and a lover. You are a victim of someone else’s game. And you forgot who you really are.
The evening of the presentation promises to be bright and eventful. The DJ set is planned to include tracks mentioned in Vadim Yakovlev’s stunning novel-quest. The author will be presented by contemporary art critic and curator Konstantin Doroshenko. The book was published this summer by the Kiev publishing house “Kayala”.

Вечер презентации обещает быть ярким и насыщенным. В диджей-сет планируется включить треки, упоминаемые в сногсшибательном романе-квесте Вадима Яковлева. Автора представит критик и куратор современного искусства Константин Дорошенко. Книга вышла этим летом в киевском издательстве «Каяла».
