Will fur production be banned in Ukraine?
All connoisseurs of fur products should start to worry.
The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine wants to adopt a law banning the production of fur from January 1, 2025.
If the law is passed, then breeding and keeping animals for the purpose of producing fur products will be punishable by a prison term of two to ten years.
If the bill is passed, Ukraine will become the 15th country in Europe to ban the production of fur.
It is difficult to give an adequate assessment of such actions, because those who wore furs will wear them, but already helping the owners of fur shops to prosper, with goods from abroad and huge taxes from our customs.
